Learning from Creation
Sunday, 19 July 2026
What can birds and lilies teach us about faith and belonging? This Sunday, we'll explore Jesus' words from Matthew 6:25 alongside the wisdom of Thomas Berry and Robin Wall Kimmerer—thinkers who invite us to see creation as a living community, not just a collection of things. If you're longing for deeper connection with God and each other, join us in person or online. Come as you are – you are welcome here!

Embrace UCC: Open Hearts, Open Doors, Open Minds
Embrace United Church of Christ is a diverse, progressive faith community in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex—a place where you are welcomed exactly as you are.
We are a spiritual home for people of all backgrounds, faith traditions, and identities. We celebrate LGBTQIA+ inclusion, appreciate diverse perspectives of the vastness of God's love, and practice radical hospitality grounded in extravagant grace and courageous compassion. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, returning after years away, or deeply rooted in your spiritual journey, you'll find authentic community here.
Embrace UCC began as a parish of Cathedral of Hope in Dallas and is now an independent United Church of Christ congregation. We gather Sundays at 11:00am at St Philip Presbyterian Church (745 W. Pipeline Rd, Hurst TX 76053) for worship that blends Scripture, contemporary music, and honest conversation about faith and life. We also offer thoughtful, engaging programming for children during worship.
