The Radical Act of Being Yourself

On Sunday, October 11th, we celebrate LGBTQ+ Coming Out Day, Young Girls Day, and Indigenous Peoples Day through Isaiah 43:1: "I have called you by name, you are mine." This verse speaks to all who've been marginalized—inviting us to step out of society's shadows and claim our full, God-given identities. Imagine the liberation when each of us could authentically become who we truly are. Join us as we listen to each other's stories, explore art from our community, and discover what freedom looks like when God calls us by name. Come as you are – you are welcome here!

Embrace United Church of Christ is a diverse, inclusive, family-friendly community of faith in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex where you belong exactly as you are. We are a Progressive Christian church that values and honors diversity in race, identification, and faith traditions—celebrating LGBTQIA+ inclusion and appreciating diverse perspectives and understandings of God's love and wisdom. We take our faith seriously, but keep our ways of "doing church" flexible and authentic; some might find this quirky, but we call it home.
