New Parenting Support Group Forming
Summer fun is coming to an end as teachers and students are heading back to the school year routine. Many of our community have enjoyed visits to family, vacations to the beach, mountains and theme parks. We have missed you in worship and are happy that most are back home and back to worship!
We look forward to our new schedule which allows us more opportunities for education opportunities. We are happy to announce a new group for parents -- which will be forming after Labor Day. This class will meet after worship from 11:30-12:15 on Sundays and will be a Sunday School class for education, fellowship and support on the journey of parenting. The children will be in class during this time with our teachers and child care providers.
Our Service Group really has a great time sorting food at the Tarrant Area Food Bank warehouse facility. We work one Thursday night a month 6-9pm. It is work -- but fun when doing it with friends and we know we are helping hungry people get fed! We work for Mission Central in Hurst and they get $15.15 credit for each volunteer hour we work -- so we help our local agency as well.
